Synopsis:

Ben Goertzel is an eccentric technology guru, who has dedicated his life to developing a program modeled on the human brain. In 2014, the government of Hong Kong granted him funding to put his artificial intelligence software into a robotic body, so that it could interact with the physical world. In order to fulfill his vision, Ben recruits a team of global experts as unconventional as he is. However, as the enormity of the challenge becomes increasingly clear, stories from Ben’s past surface, shedding light on how he gets people to help him and exposing the wake of human suffering that he leaves behind.
